On April 2, an Eagle Court of Honor was held for seven boys from the Lehi 17th Ward, Lehi North Stake. The Scouts are Tyler Peck, Judd Peck, Alan Wood, Don Wilson, Nathan Broadbent, Austin Miner and Jarrett Miner. Scout Committee Chairman Kathy Simmons helped the boys put the finishing touches on their work so that they could get their award. Other leaders included Ken Fox, Mardell Cheney, Larry Covington, Joe Simmons, Brent Larsen, Jay Christofferson, Ron Peck, Craig Davis, Dan Thulin, Curt Pierson and Bishop Kenneth Rushton. All of the boys have held leadership positions in school and church. After the program and presentation of the awards, a memorable event of the night was when the Tracy Aviary brought in a live, golden eagle for all to see. It was a vivid symbol of the boys' accomplishments. Clean up activities will begin at 10 am at the association's clubhouse, located at 1177 W. Bullion Street (5280 South) in Murray, and is expected to last for two hours. All interested parties are invited to attend the event which will include a free barbecue at the association's clubhouse after the clean-uParticipants should bring work gloves and will be provided with garbage bags. The Association has committed to clean up sections of the Jordan River through the Division of Wildlife Resources' Stream Team Program. They have committed to at least four clean-up- s during a two year time span and are provided with educational materials, garbage bags, and recognition signs posted along the waterway.
