They were both born in Pleasant Grove. Reed graduated from Pleasant Grove High School. Betty lived in Ibapah, Utah, then in American Fork where she graduated from high school. Reed is a veteran of World War II. He retired from Prudential Insurance as a salesman. Betty is retired from Meadow 1946 in ' Gold Dairy. Both have been active in the LDS Church. Reed has been a Bishop, Stake Sunday School President, High Priest Group Leader, active in scouting and in a Stake Mission presidency. Betty has been active in Relief Society, Primary and has held positions in the scouting program. v. : fv Ryan Spray to be wed to Jennifer Adams Saturday Ryan Spray and Jennifer Adams have chosen to wed Feb. 3 in the West Ridge Country Club in West Valley City. is the daughter The bride-to-b- e of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Adams of Taylorsville. The prospective grom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Spray of Lehi. A reception will honor them that same evening at the Ridge Room from 6 to 8 p.m. at 5055 S. They have 16 grandchildren and one Ida Hayward Wagstaff will celebrate her 80th birthday at an open house in her honor on Saturday, Feb. 3, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the American Fork 3rd Ward, 680 N. 350 West. Hosting the affair will be her sons, Jesse Wagstaff and his wife Ann, and Fred Wagstaff and his wife Dyan. They cordially invite all friends and relatives to share this time with her. Ida was born Feb. 2, 1916 in Bountiful to Charles E. and Martha A. Hayward. She left Bountiful in time to start school in Spanish Fork and continued in school there through the 11th grade. In her senior year she attended American Fork High School and graduated with the class of 1933. Ida and David E. Wagstaff were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April 27, 1934. They lived on and worked the Wagstaff farm for 57 years until his death on Nov. 7, 1991. She is an active member of the LDS Church and has served on and stake boards of the Primary and Relief Society. She worked for years at the Bank of American Fork, Upright Right-Wa- y Electric, Electric, Ellison Motor, Timpanogos Cleaners, Cecil P. Hansen Processing Plant, the Office of Price Administration (the ration office during World War II), and the Utah Celery Co-oIda is an accredited genealogist.
