Show K Free Press - Wednesday, November elui Living - 15, 1995 - Leland and Evelyn Wimmer to be honored at open house Page 4 Leland and Evelyn Wimmer will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house hosted by their children on Friday, Nov. 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the LDS Chapel at 680 N. 350 West, American Fork. They request no gifts. The Wimmers are lifetime residents of American Fork. Both Evelyn and Leland received their public education in the American Fork schools. They were married Feb. 14, 1945 in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Aug. 21, 1946. They were serving a mission in England on their anniversary w i v ' t, J v"4 ' t 1 '; t ' tag Evelyn and Leland Wimmer News. from 1992 to 1993; England, London Mission from 1994 to 1995. Both Leland and Evelyn love to travel and they have visited 35 states in the U.S A. and traveled to Mexico, Canada, England, Wales, Scotland and 10 countries in Europe. They are the parents of five England, Birmingham Leland earned a bachelor's degree in education and a master's in psychology from BYU degree after their marriage. Leland taught school in the Alpine School District and worked as a school psychologist in the Tooele County School District.
