They got some water balloons and..."we had a water there was water throughfight out the store and we tormented the employees. My grandpa (N.S. Peck) told us 'don't come back!' but unfortunately when your dad owns the business, you go back to work." Bob is the third generation to work at Peck Building Supply on Lehi's 115 East State Street. His grandfather started the business in March of 1970 and last month they celebrated their 25th anniversary in the hardware and lumber business. As the city has grown, so has Peck Building Supply. In 1991, they joined Hardware Wholesaler Inc., a nationwide member-ownecompany like Ace and True Value Hardware. And last December they opened a second larger 3000 square foot store in Highland. The stores keep a smaller, select stock rather than compete with the larger city stores but they can get what you need if they don't have it d competitive rates.?? J. Ralph Binnall 120 N. 100 E.
