Gene Hackman in Hoosiers. The Lehi Lazers ( actually the Pioneers ) slashed their way into first place after beating Uintah 1 and then toppling the Wasatch This gave Lehi a solo Wasps first place in Region 1 0 and they are undefeated in region play. For somewhere amidst the sweaty shirts and the laughter was the score keepers pad and that score card read Lehi 66. Wasatch 54. If you believe in over coming adversity, dig this: Wasatch front In the second period you could see the wheels start turning as the Lehi coachingstaff started tomatch up different combinations. Tyson LaFord, Brock Jones and Clint Smith came in and did a great job. Wasatch must have started to feel the frustration ofnot being able to shake these guys so they tried a little intimidation on Clint Smith. Clint was not to have any of this and went right after them. End of the half Wasatch. It was obvious that if Lehi had a prayer of staying in this game they were going to have to turn back that inside game. Lehi came out cold, hitting one of their first six shots. Then the game did a complete turn around and Lehi stepped up the tempo. Lance Magnusson took control on both ends rebounding, scoring andforcingturnovers. Brock Jones helped on the boards. Rubin Redhair caused some havoc. Lehi started crashing the middle and at the end of three it was 2 Lehi! In the last quarter Lehi just ran the Wasps off the court. Lance Magnusson fouled out and brother Luke came on to finish, playing with four fouls. You could see the momentum in Lehi and you could see Wasatch physically dissipate. Wilson kept the players fresh and Wasatch didn't. Rubin Redhair had four steals and eight or nine forced turn overs. Lehi did well at the charity line making 15 free throws. Center Luke Magnusson had this comment, "No, it wasn't very pretty, but I think we showed a lot of heart out there. We stayed in there and did what we had to do. Its design allows the lower jaw to pivot around a steel pin so that pressure applied to the handle enables the jaw to close around a pipe or fitting, driving the teeth of the wrench into the metal, thereby establishing the grip. The beauty of the Stillson wrench rests with the fact that Its gripping action allows its jaws to automatically keep pace with any increases in the pressure applied to the handle.
