As Bill Ray, he has one big scene in which he must use his wits to keep stride for stride with Norman, who, of course, puts him off as much as possible. In this scene he must deal with subjects which he feels he must, but whichmakehim rather uncomfortable. Norman is no help at all. Out of this conversation comes a respect, although distant, for each other. They understand one another. The part is well chosen for Marc and he handles it well. No one would find many loose ends in this performance, but if Ethel would speak up a little more when she is talking with the doll early in the show, she would be heard better. This play will be presented Nov. 18, 19, 20 and 22 at 8 p.m. in the auditorium of the Pleasant Grove Public Library. It will be enjoyed by all ages. self-employ- L.Smith Ralph E. Lee 1993. as a CPA. She fidgets and fusses and her actions are perfect for the part. Dennis Purdie is back again as the old boyfriend, Charlie Martin. He was especially chosen for this part. His snortinglaugh, his fear of Norman, his ways of dealing with bachelorhood and never winning the hand of his first love, are part of his complex character which is summed up with one big chuckle. Many people would want to come see the play just to see Dennis as Charlie. They know he will be a riot and he is.
