She is also survived by five brothers and one sister: John (Whit) Roundy, Pleasant Grove; Fred Roundy, Cuba, New Mexico; Heber (Bill) Roundy, Montiview, Idaho; Samuel (Sam) Roundy, Hildale; Lawrence Roundy, Henderson, Nev.; Lucille Lindsay, Hildale; 55 grandchildren and 50 Nyhra Roundy Frampton, our loving mother, has passed away. She was a kind and gentle woman who loved her family dearly. She was born July 27, 1920 in Alton, Utah to John D. and Maggie Roundy. She married W. Nyle Frampton in 1937 and they were later di- vorced. She was very talented as a seamstress, florist, decorator and cook. She loved people of all ages and was a grandmother to all children. Funeral services were held at the L.S. Johnson Meeting House, Hildale, Utah, on Tuesday, Sept. 14. Burial was in the Hildale She raised and is survived by 12 children: John R. (June) Pleasant Grove; Darrell (Beth) Lindon; Mrs. Lynn (Nyla) Healey, Lehi; Stephen Nicci Garrett Shauna Nicole "Nicci' Garrett, age 18, born August 13, 1975 in American Fork, Utah to Barry Randall and being with friends. Fangel Garrett, died in Tucson, Arizona on August 31, 1993 of pneumonia after a battle with can- Randy Carla Nicole was a member of the LDS Church. She loved being baptized for the dead. Nicci Westmore " ti .e7r , Elementary Garrett, Tucson, Arizona; her mother and stepfather, Harold and Jean Chatwin, Oremjher older brothers, Kevin Garrett, DeKalb, Illinois; Kirk Garrett, Orem; twin sisters, Terri Garrett and Cristi Garrett, and a younger brother, Duane Garrett, all of Orem; her grandmother and Nile and Reeta Jones of American Fork, Utah. She was preceded in death by grandparents: Virgel F. Fangel and Harold'Bill'and VeEtta Hawking Garrett of the ProvoOrem and Lakeridge Junior High in Orem; also schools in other states. Nicole loved anim als and wanted tobe a vet or zookeeper. She showed great compassion for younger children with cancer at Primary Childrens Medical Center. Her hobbies were camping, embroidering, and swimming. She was the life of the party and enjoyed area. was held at the Winder First Ward Chapel in Orem on Sept. 10. Romrell, both of Salt Lake City; Jay Lloy Romrell, Highland; Paul Wayne Romrell, Mesa, Ariz.; sister, Anna Jane Romrell Hafen, St. George. Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 10, in the Lehi West Stake Center. Burial was in the Lehi City Cemetery. Bateman, 43, Lehi, died Sept. 7, 1993 in her home of cancer. She was born May 22, 1950 in St. Anthony, the Idaho, of Rulon R. and daughter Jane Myrtle A Harder Romrell. She ff married Garth Leslie Bateman Aug. 22, 1974 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a wife, mother and Gene Greenland Henry Eugene service to everyone. He maintained a humorous and optimistic view of life in the face of his trials. He faithfully endured to the end. He is survived by his mother, Marie Bendall, Orem; a sister and brother: Barbara" Reisner, Orem; Bruce Greenland, Honolulu, Hawaii. He was preceded in death by "Gene" Greenland, 50, died Sept. at his home in Orem. He was born 12, 1993 April 29, 1943 in American Fork to Henry Edgar Marie and Larson S. Alberta, to Canada Che M o 1 n r Idaho Or- ichi a e y Shomaker. She married George II n t h a n k Millett Sept. 16, 1925 in theManti LDS Temple. He died Oct. 27, 1986. She was a member of the LDS Church. 1 f, Falls, Idaho, the son of William George and Violet Grace Brunt Steele. He married Pearl Joyce Marler Nov. 6, 1954 in Toppenish, Wash. The marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He was a retired farmer for the LDS Church for 22 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a High Priest in the LDS Church and also held such positions as Sunday School president, ward clerk and counselor in the High Priest group. He was loved by all who knew him, his humor bringing laughter and joy. He will be greatly missed. Survivors include his wife, Lehi; three sons and and five daughters: Bill and Cindy Steele, Washington, Utah; Jeff and Pat Steele and Ren Steele, Alpine; Ronda and Corey Ruward, Elkridge; Terri and Brian Condie, Cristi and Todd Nemelka and Wendy Steele, all of Logan; Angie and Reed Murdock, Highland; 22 grandchildren; four brothers and onesister: George andTress Steele, Idaho Falls, Idaho; Kay and Maxine Steele, Phoenix, Ariz.; Jim and Maurine Steele, Iona, Idaho; Keith and Eileen Steele, Yuma, Ariz.; and Veda Drown, Twin Falls, Idaho. Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 17, at noon in the Lehi Stake Center, 200 N. Center, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service. Roy Charles Chamberlain, 72, Pleasant Grove, died Sept. 6, 1993 at his home of cancer. HOME He was born March 31, 1921 in Portland, Ore. to Earl and Jenevieve Cham- Mayer berlain. He married Jean Cook 'M $ April 26, 1942 in V?' Yuma, Ariz. He had been employed by the U.S. Postal Ser vice as a carrier for 25 years. Howard Leon Thorne, 68, died Sept. 11 at his home in Coos Bay, Oregon of cancer. He was born Aug. 13, 1925 in Lehi to Howard and Garnet Gaisfor d Thorne. He married Gertrude O'Brien March 4, 1955. He graduated from Pleasant Grove High School. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the LDS Church.
