Pulley Jerry Eggett Walter Gerald (Jerry) Eggett left for home on June 20, 1993. Jerry's vibrance for life, family ana worn remained with him throughout his illness. He had a wonderful, calm under- II of standing what lay before him. Jerry was born Dec. 5, 1943 in Salt Lake City to Walter P. and Marjorie V. Eggett. He married Patrice McLachlan Aug. 12, 1966 in the IDS Temple. Jerry served an LDS mission to Canada. He graduated from BYU and served a tour of duty in Vietnam. At the onset of his illness he was vice president of operations for Sysco In termountain. He truly loved his work and all the associations he made with people. He worked at what he called the grocery business all his life. His favorite phrases were "sell something" and "no guts no glory." He loved hunting and fishing with his sons and late father-in-lawhom he considered his best friend. Jerry's greatest achievement was the life and love he gave to his wife and five children. He is survived by his wife; five children: Elizabeth and Darell Wilkins, Pleasant Grove; Matthew G. Eggett, Mark and Becky Eggett, Melissa and Jared Johnson, and Cordell Eggett, all of American Fork. He had two grandchildren, Andy and Alex, his "rugrats," whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by his father, Walter P. Eggett, American Fork; two sisters, Karen Greenwood and Joy Alldredge, and a brother, Dennis Eggett. He was preceded in death by his mother. A special thanks from thefamily is given to Bob Jensen of Sysco Intermountain for his unconditional love, support and understanding, and to Dr. John Thomson of LDS Hospital for his care and compassion. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 24, at noon in the Highland 12th Ward, 10390 N. Alpine Highway. Friends may call at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E. 100 North, American Fork, Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the American Fork City Cemetery with military rites conducted by VFW District Four. Glen Ivan Pulley, died Wednesday, June 16, 1993 in American Fork Hospital following a heart attack. He was born Dec. 29, 1928 in American Fork, the son of Elmer A. and Katie Marie Mott Pulley. He married Ila Effie Gibbons Oct. 22, 1947 in Lehi. The mar- riage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was retired from General Refractories, was a High Priest, active in Cub Scouts, Sunday School and as a home teacher. He is survived by his wife of American Fork; three sons and three daughters: G. Leon Pulley, Layton; Eldon and Mrs. Andrew (Tina) Madsen, both of Salt Lake City; Gordon Pulley, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. John (Una) Jones, American Fork; Mrs. Valerie Roberts, Springville; 13 grandchildren; two two brothers and one sister: Vernal Pulley, Salem ; Morris and May Pulley, both of Salt Lake City. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer and Trevor Mohring James, 62, died June 21, 1993 at his home in Highland after a valiant battle with cancer. He was born Oct. 30, 1930 in En- Liverpool, 1 gland to William Griffith Lloyd Fred and Mohring Jam es . He married Ann Clara Menlove June 13, 1951 in the Manti LDS Temple. He was baptized a member of the LDS Church June 2 1, 1945 and has been a faithful member since that time. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1949. He received Greyhound's Silver Stripe Award in 1988 for 25 years of safe driving and retired from Grey- hound in 1990. He is survived by his wife, Ann, Highland; 10 children: Mary Ann and Dean Smiley, San Jose, Calif.; Diane and David Brewer, Lindon; Lynn W. James, Bruce T. James, both of Highland; Mavis and Kenneth Neeley, Mark M. James, all of Salt Lake; Lloyd Thomas and Sue James, Cedar Hills; Linda Jo and Mark Priestley, Bancroft, Idaho; Cathrine and Scott Sampson, Lehi; Christine and Paul Anderson, Cove, Utah; 23 grandchildren; a brother, John D. James, Danville, Calif.; a sister, Enid Pence, Santa Barbara, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, and a sister, Margaret Piele. His creed was "Love One Another." Shirley Lein Shirley Lerae Comer Lein, 61, died Wednesday, June 16, 1993 in a Pleasant Grove care center. Shewasborn April 13, 1932 in Lehi, the daugh- ter of James and Heber Frances Jane Jones Comer. She married Ethel Sefton Weston. He married Loren Dean Lein Lila ther, grandfather and brother. He had been employed at Geneva Steel as a machinist prior to his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodwork. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife of Pleasant Grove; a son and a daughter: Gary Weston, American Fork; Lori Schelling, Plainfield, Illinois; four grandchildren; a brother and three sisters: Cleve Weston, Los Banos, California; Irene Marshall, Huntington, Utah; Ila Thayne, Wellington, Utah; and Stella Ryan, Aurora, Colorado. Natalie Cooper Dalton Weston James Preston Nash, 84, died June 16, 1938 in Anaheim, California. He was born July 5, 1908 in Alpine to Ephraim Jefferson and Mindwell Preston Nash. He married Madolyn Jensen June 21, 1928 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He worked as a general contractor and as an attendant at the Utah State Training School. The love Preston gave and received from his family, from the oldest to the youngest, was a major force in his life. From his early youth until ill health prevented it, the outdoor life was important to him and he loved to share it with his family and friends. He enjoyed a lifetime of activity in the LDS Church and held numerous positions of responsibility. He is survived by his wife; one son and one daughter: Dale P. Nash, American Fork; Mazie N.
