Hansen will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary on Thursday, April 29. They will be honored at a family dinner. They were married April 29, 1943 in American Fork by Bishop John Pulley. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple March 6, 1946. Roland was born and raised in American Fork. He attended school there and graduated from American Fork High School. He entered the military in 1942 and was discharged in 1946. He worked at Tooele Army Depot and retired after 37 years of service. Beulah was born and raised in Fairfield. She graduated from Lehi High School. She attended LDS Business College and then worked in Ogden as a secretary. Both have always been active in the LDS Church. Their children are: Alona (Mrs. Harold) Park, American Fork; Marie ' I .f Win , ' jr ) ? She was recognized for her extra efforts, exceptional performance and going beyond the call of duty as a 911 dispatcher. Leigh has been employed as a dispatcher for four years. She is on the training committee for Provo Police and is one of the instructors for the UVCC Dispatch Academy. The daughter of Boyd and Peggy Peterson of Lehi, the 1989 graduate of Lehi High School is married to Russ Ferre', formerly of American Fork.
