Eight students at Lehi Elementary received cash and prizes for their winning entries in the recent "Wake Up the Kids for Breakfast" poster contest. Celebrating National Breakfast the lunch ladies Week, March sponsored the contest to help students realizer the importance of breakfast. Over 80 entries were placed in the lunchroom for display after judging. Four winners were selected in upper and lower grades. Main PL Grove "This was one of our best years," said Jan Rymer as she explained that this year's Science Fair at Sego Lily Elementary contained about 400 entries. The figure becomes more significant when compared with the enrollment of only about 500 students. Seven of those entries, completed by a total of 1 1 students, will represent the school at the BYU Science Fair on April 28. Kimberly Bruner, Lindsay Byington, Lindsay Schneider, Adrienne Italiano, Tyler Peacock, Layne Peacock, Jamie Christensen, Catherine Pulham.JulianneOlsen, Brandon Joe and Paul Hill were named as the delegates to the next level of competition. Sego Lily students who will represent their school at the BYU Science Fair include, front songlines ofAustralian aborigines, answering machines, the English language and carrier pigeons. Students in the sixth grade Junior Division competed against sixth, seventh and eighth grade students for their berths in the state competition at BYU on April 26.
