Letitian Club hears from Artistic Director Colledge The 40th anniversary of The Letitian Club was celebrated by its members at a special party at the Senior Citizens Center last week. It was a special guest night for the Letitians, and there were over 70 present at the gala affair. Delicious refreshments were served and JoAnn Brown gave the litany. An outstanding program was furnished by Jackie Colledge, some of her students, and her mother, Sarah Price, costume designer for Utah Regional Ballet. The Ballet company will perform "The Legend of Timpanogos" in May at the DeJong Concert Hall on the BYU Campus. Sarah showed costumes for the production, and Jackie told of her dream to present the show for the first time. The choreography, scenery, music and costumes will all be original, according to Jackie. The club ladies enjoyed their presentation, and listened as a of Kathryn Holmstead, Marshell Anderson, read an original tribute to the granddaughter club. Acting as hostesses for the delightful evening's entert ainment were Carma Price, Arlene Peck, Virginia Downs, Fern Gray and Marna Berry. CPR class tonight, Thurs. C.P.R. classes sponsored by the Lehi Ambulance Association will be held tonight and Thursday evening, April 29 and 30, class will certify This participants in CPR through the American Heart Association. The clinic will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. May 20 - An Evening Out will include a performance by the Regional Ballet's "Legend of Timpanogos" at the DeJong Concert Hall on the BYU campus. Dinner at ChuckORama will be enjoyed at 5 p.m. prior to the ballet. Reservation deadline is May 15. The legend of Utah's own majestic wonder Timpanogos" is thebasis and inspiration for a ballet that is billed as the finest collaborative work in the field ofdance and music to come out of Utah in decades. Jackie Colledge, Utah Regional Ballet's artistic director and the Ballet's costume designer, are both from Lehi. Other tours planned for summer are a visit at the Abbey of Holy Trinity Monastery in Weber County with lunch at Spring Chicken Inn. This tour will be on June 10.
