You may also by During the holiday season, the children and grandchildren of Arlene Phillips Adamson of Lehi, met with her to celebrate her 80th birth- - , Dean and LaRue Hansen 50th anniversary open house for Dean and LaRue Hansen The children of Earl Dean and LaRue Chadwick Hansen are pleased to announce the 50th wedding anniversary of their parents. Dean and LaRue were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Jan. 20, 1942. The Hansens have six children: Mike, Jay, Mark, Nile, Joy and Shellie. They also have 20 grand children and nine great grandchildren, all of whom live in Lehi. A family dinner will be held in their honor on Saturday, Jan. 18, from 3 to 6 p.m. and an open house for friends and relatives from 6 to 7 p.m. will be held at the Lehi 8th Ward,890 North, 700 East, Lehi. Please come and share their joy. No gifts, please. North Stake to hold Women's Conference Brad Wilcox will be the keynote speaker. Wilcox is a writer, speaker and teacher, and he especially enjoys working with the youth of the Church. Arlene Adamson retirement, they fulfilled an LDS Mission to Lansing, Michigan. She has served in many positions in the LDS Church, with most of her callings in the Relief Society. She is the mother of one son and three daughters: Dr. David (Phil) Adamson, Pleasant Grove; Clar-en-e (Mrs. Donald) Myrup, American Fork; Diana (Mrs. Rodney) Fakatou, Salt Lake City; and Linda (Mrs. Larry) Hadfield, Lehi. By CRISTY GROVER Chris Tucker, son of Val and Elaine Tucker of Lehi, is being honored as this week's Pioneer Profile for his achievements. Chris is involved in many school activities and clubs and is still able to maintain a 3.9 GPA. He is active in soccer and swimming, a member of Encore, the National Honor Society, art and science clubs and band. Swimming, cross country skiing, piano, guitar and art are a few of the activities Chris enjoys. He was a lifeguard at the Lehi Pool last summer, where he also taught swimming lessons. Brad Wilcox Explorer-Pries- Tim Eisenhart will serve as the narrator, with James Dixon, Reg Christensen and Jim Gray taking parts of prophets; Mary Merill, Kathy Clark and Wanda Roberts will portray sisters. The concluding presentation will be a Book of Mormon Cantata, which will be sung by the Utah Valley Children's Choir. Ricks College honor roll Ricks College recently named 1,292 students to its fall semester honor roll. Lehi's Marci Ross was among the students earning honor roll status. Information will be given on when to fertilize, water, and how to have your soil tested. In addition to his address, several members of the stake, under the direction of Glen Smith, will perform a dramatization about the Book of Mormon. Chris represented Lehi at Boys State, where he was city clerkcounty recorder. Young Women and Merrie Miss girls, as well as sisters from other stakes in Lehi, are also invited to Bishopric. Arlene was born Dec. 4, 1911, to George C. and Alice L. Phillips of Lehi. She was one of 17 children. Arlene spent all of her younger years in Lehi, graduating from Lehi High School and then attending LDS Business School. It was while living and working in Salt Lake City that she met her future husband, David William Adamson Jr. of Salt Lake City. She married him Sept. 2, 1932, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
