Show Lehi scouters are honored By RUSS DALY The Lehi District of the Boy Scouts of America recognized the efforts of several Lehi citizens recently duringits annua awards and recognition banquet. Under the direction of James Nielsen, district chairman, and Mary Pinkham, head of the awards committee, District Awards ofMerit .were given to Ila Rasmussen and David Westover. Diana Bailey, Nile Chamberlain, Paul Christiansen, Doug Hall, and Doris Lee Westover, earned Second Miler awards, and the John Hutchings Scouting Award was given to Steve and Marilyn Adams. Diana Bailey Mrs. Bailey has given years of service to the scouting movement, serving as Bear and Wolf den leader, cub chairman, merit badge counselor, advancement counselor, assistant cub master and others. She is currently a staff member of the District Cub Training as well as the ward pack committee. Nile Chamberlain worked with young people for years as bishop, a scouter, and a soccer coach, he has been able to help them set goals, learn and accomplish their desires.
