Lee honored on her 80th birthday ' The family of Ruby Nielsen Lee celebrated with her at a family dinner and program to observe her 80th birthday, Sept. 23. The party was held at the Lehi Senior Citizens Center. Ruby was born Sept. 23, 19 1 1 in Whitney, Idaho, to Alma A. and Sarah Gilbert Moser. She spent most ofher youth in Bancroft, Idaho, graduating from high school there as valedictorian of her class. Shirley and Wayne Bushman . Texas-Louisia- Shirley has enjoyed many responsibilities as a teacher in the auxiliaries and as president in the Relief Society and MIA organizations. Their greatest joy is their family. They are the parents of seven children: Eileen (and Calvin) Urry, Lehi; Marilyn (and Blaine Carlton), Salt Lake City; Ken (and Linda Watson) Bushman, Lehi; Carole (and Arvel Richards), Sandy; Janice (and Jay Hathaway), Monda; Neil (and Christa Wignall) Bushman, Payson; Jalaine (and Doug Sievers), Salt Lake City. They have 37 grandchildren and Ruby taught piano to many children during her years in Lehi. She was a ward and stake Relief Society president and held many positions in the LDS Church. She was a member of the Athenian club for many years. She married Wilson Lee and they resided in Orem where she lives now. Wilson passed away June 10, 1988. Her children are: ArleneN. and Earl Lewis, Salem, Oregon; Lynn and KarlaNielsen; Don, (deceased) and Marilyn Nielsen, and Carol N. and Karl Zimmerman, all of Lehi; stepchildren: Glen and Marian Lee, Ephraim; Rex and Dorothy Lee, Lehi; Max and Betty Lee, Salt Lake City; and Virginia Lee Regis, Bountiful. They moved to Lehi in 1945, where Mr. Nielsen taught school for the next 22 years. He passed away Sept. Bushman Golden Wedding open house September 27 The children of F. Wayne and Shirley Tobler Bushman will honor their parents for their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house on Friday, Sept.27. It will be held from p.m. at the Payson 12th and 13th Ward Church, 5237 West 10400 South, (three and a half miles west of Payson on Utah Avenue), Payson, Utah. They would enjoy your company on this special occasion. They request no gifts. Wayne and Shirley were married Oct 2, 1941, in the Salt Lake IDS Temple. Wayne was born and raised in Lehi. Shirley was born in St. George and raised in Salt Lake City and Santa Clara, Utah. They made their home in Lehi until 1961 when they moved to West Mountain. Wayne was a dairy farmer for 32 years and since 1977 has farmed and raised beef cattle. Shirley has been a homemaker. They have been active in the LDS Church serving in many posi - p Elder Jason Jacobsen, son of Lloyd and Jennifer Jacobsen, Lehi, has returned from the Missouri-S- t. Louis Mission and will speak at a homecoming service Sunday, Sept. 29, at 2 p.m. in the Ninth Ward, 465 E. 300 North, Lehi.
