Gurney has been e called to serve in the Mission. He is the son of Paul and Donna Gurney of Lehi and Jean Haynes of Wyoming. Elder Gurney will speak in sacrament meeting Sunday, June 9, at the Lehi 10th Ward, Lehi Stake Center, 200 North Center. Elder Gurney is a 1990 graduate of Lehi High School where he was active in wrestling and debate. He graduated from LDS Seminary. Has been attending the University ofUtah while working in Salt Lake Wisconsin-Milwauke- Baby girl for Nielsen family Elder Gurney will enter the Missionary Training Center on June marriage of their daughter Elane Kirkham to Larry Williams, son of Boyde and Willa Williams of American Fork. The couple exchanged vows on May 25 in Lehi. Children of the bride are Ashley and Cody Brooks. Children of the groom are Amy, Jamie and Matthew Williams. Nathan Paul Wycherley, 13, son of Samuel "K" Wycherley and Jay-lee- n S. Wycherley, received the rank Eagle Scout at a court of honor held Sunday, May 19, at the Lehi Stake Center. He is an active member ofOrder of the Arrow as well as Troop 110, where he serves as patrol leader. Nathan just completed the seventh grade as an honor student at of 5 Junior High. Last year Nathan received the Hope of America Award for his Lehi and Tony K. Beckstead to serve in Sweden Elder Tony K. Beckstead has been called to serve in the Sweden :ntt&&f Stockholm LDS Mission. He is the son of Kim and Jill Beckstead of Lehi. Elder Beckstead will speak in a sacrament service Sunday, June 9, at 9 a.m. in the Lehi 6th Ward Chapel, 120 W. 200 South. Friends and family are invited to an open house after the meeting at his home, 1140 W. Main, Lehi. He will enter the Missionary Training Center June 12. He was a 1990 graduate of Lehi High School where he was active in high school rodeo. He graduated from LDS seminary and has been attending Utah Valley Community College. Webb, was chosen as the outstanding faculty award from the College of Science and Technology at BYU for 1990. He received the University Young Scholar Award with research funding and support for a three-yea- r period: 1991, 1992, and 1993, beginning in the fall of '91. The children of Helen Jorgen-so- n Degelbeck are having a surprise open house honoring their mother on her 75th birthday. The lovely event will be held Saturday, June 8, at Fairfield State Park, Fairfield, from 4 to 6 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. No gifts, please.
