Ai JLi Tfciii - - Sally Taggart, an English teacher at the Lehi Junior High, instructs one of her students on computer usage at the new computer lab. Teachers will now be able to bring their classes into the lab to do writing as well as learn computer skills. Junior High opens computer lab A Computer Writing Lab is now open at the Lehi Jr. High School, it was announced by Principal Glen Clark. The lab is primarily a writing lab for English classes, but can be used by all classes, Mr. Clark stated. Complete with 40 stations, the lab was custom designed by the school and enables a teacher to c S) looking forward to using it," Mr. Clark stated. An aide; Mrs. Deanne Lindstrom, has been hired to assist students and teachers in the lab. AH teachers will be trained on lab usage and the programs available before they easily assist each individual student. Currently the lab is equipped with Word Perfect and Draw Perfect programs. Other programs will be added to the file server in the library as soon as the lab continues to develop and the network is installed. Lehi Junior High holds career day For the second year in a row the Lehi Junior High School has held a Career day for their students. Last Wednesday, March 27, with the help of Miss Jacque Peterson and the Student Council, many local guests were invited to demonstrate their interestingoccupations to the students.
