Lindon. April Ann is a hillbilly girl, who has only been to town once in her entire life, and who is not eager to return. With her father being gone hunting all the time, he leaves for months at a time and thinks he has only been gone a little while. April Ann has taken upon herself the responsibility of caring for the family. She has a mother but this mother does not spend a good deal of time working. She always needs to "rest a bit". April Ann can do anything a man can do: fell trees, build a room onto the cabin, put on a new roof, trap animals, shoot game, clear a field for planting, etc. Into their lives, at this point comes two men. One is a trapper and the other has crashed his plane on the mountainside. Their ideas of what should become of April Ann is the meat of the story. 1 I i.llIlillllliWP5 m0SM 4: fli Mr A Michelle Clawson is a delightful Ann. She has a beautiful singing voice and portrays this clumsy giii who is turning into a lovely woman. Melva Taylor is Cory Pitchard, her mother. Melva fills the role of the rather lazy mother very well. The children Yerda, Joey and Maudie are played by Camilla McKendrick, Mike Renstrom, and Kristy Sorenson, respectively. They are cute kids and add a great deal to the show. They also have great singing ability. The two men who cause havoc in the life of this tranquil mountain family are Jerry Ferguson as Art Yancey and Brad Graff as Larry McFarland. Again, outstanding performances are given by these April two. Mel Taylor plays man in the forest . the part of the - Performances are each Friday, Saturday and Monday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $3.50 for adults, $2.75 for students and senior citizens, and $13.50 for families. v Sing and Dance to Contemporary Music!!
