Show Chamber refurbishes city sign ' ' - 1 ' ' '' The huge welcome sign northwest of Lehi has been repainted and will be hung soon, according to Howard Johnson, Chamber of Commerce Board president. He reported that Stan Russon had repainted the welcome sign and city crews will now put the sign in place on the already constructed billboard. Carolyn Player, membership chairman, reported that board members needed to contact local people to get new businesses to join the Chamber and to get others to renew memberships. A possible concert was discussed briefly and details of the Easter Egg Hunt were revealed. Parlimentary Team won the State Contest last week at the annual F.F.A. Convention, it was reported by Clay Christensen, advisor. Team members included Jon Tingey, chairman; with David and Todd Wilson, secretary; Bill and Brent Evans Thayn, Moore, floor Members. Also honored at the Convention was Max Berry, who was presented the State Agriculture Mechanics Proficiency Award. He will not compete with other state winners from the Western States for a change to attend the National convention next fall.
