Starting time is 7:15 p.m. and the Roundtable is for all Cub Scout leaders and Scouting leaders with a special invitation to the Scouting coordinators because the Lehi District Calendar for 1984 will be planned. CUB NEWS Cub Scout Leader Basic Training will be held September 15, 22, and 29, under the direction of Marie Bateman. The training will be held int he West Stake Center at 7 p.m. Cub Scout Fun Day was a huge, success. A big thank you goes to Brenda Hunter and to the committee people who helped her. Winners of the Pinewood Derby were: 10 year olds, Brad Lloyd; nine year olds, Jason Brown and eight year olds, Kurt Turner. Pack 110, Tony Whitener, Mark Wilson and Dan Wilson won the Physical Fitness Contest and Age Group Winners of the Physical Fitness competition were: Brandon Crotts, Mark Wilson and Dan Wilson. These boys are now eligible to go to the Council Fun Day on September 17th at Pleasant Grove. Congratulations to these boys. Va., has been commissioned a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force upon graduation from Officer Training School at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. The course consisted of selected college graduates to apply communicative skills, professional knowledge, and leadership management to take positions of responsibility. Her grandparents, Ben and Blonda Russon, reside in Lehi. The lieutenant is a 1981 graduate of Marietta College, Ut. Valley Choral Society to begin Ohio. Any News The Utah Valley Choral Society will begin rehearsals for the 1983-8season on August 31 at 7:30 p.m. in the Provo High School choral room. The Choral Society, under the direction of Lois Johnson, has performed a variety of fine choral music for local church and community audiences and in the Assembly Hall on Temple Square. They also performed as the chorus for the 1982 Freedom Festival production of "Threads of Glory." Lois Johnson is a member and principal soloist with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. She teaches voice classes at Brigham Young 4 conducted University, numerous choirs in the area, and has taught many workshops on choral conducting.
