The identities of the other four were given as Jack L. After locating the crash, the helicopter made a hard landing and tipped over, damaging its rotor blades. Crew members were not injured. A second chopper was sent to rescue the crew. A medical investigation team to reportedly hiked three and one-hafour hours through the rugged terrain and snow drifts Sunday morning to reach the downed craft. It was decided, however, it would be too dangerous for the rescuers to try to carry out the six bodies. Officials decided to wait for better weather in hopes a military helicopter could reach the crash site. The plane victims were "encased" at the site, Mrs. Rawlings said, awaiting recovery. She said she understands the six were more than likely killed instantly when the plane crashed. The last communication the pilot made with the ground was that his wings were icy and he asked for clearance to go Saturday Memoriam Gerald G.
