Bennett Funeral Held FORK-Lowe- ll AMERICAN Rex Bennett, 71, American Fork, died on Friday, Sept. 25, in ; , Dena Rachel Beckstrand Bennett. He (narried Hope Hilton June 6, 1934, in the Salt take LDS Temple. ; He was a graduate of Young Brigham . Ward-bishopric- American Fork. He was born Feb. 15, 1910 in Meadow, Utah, a son of Jessee Johnson and and as second counselor in the Hinkley He also was University and was a teacher for 39 years. He was a principal at Meadow. He was active in the LDS Church and served as high priest School Sunday Superintendent in the Alpine Stake. His surviviors are his wife, American Fork; four sons, Gordon L. Bennett, Salt Lake City; Lynn Hilton Bennett and Lowell Bruce Bennett, both of Sandy; Robert Dean j Fork 24th Ward Chapel. Burial was in the American Fork City Cemetery. Funeral services were held on Monday, Sept. 28, in the American LOWELL BENNLTT Austin Gudmundsen Funeral Today LEHI - Austin Gudmundsen, 83, 544 North 100 East, Lehi, died September 28 in Orem. He was born March 21, 1898 in Lehi, a son of Abraham and Lettie Austin Gudmundsen. He married Murl Goodwin, September 14, 1921 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a Research Co. in and with McCullough Motors in California. He served as president of the Pittsburgh, Pa., branch of the LDS Church, as Calif.; Mrs. Peter F. (Ruth) Clark, Reno, Nevada, and Lois Gudmundsen (deceased); 13 grandchildren, four bishop of Milwaukee, Wis., ward, 13 years as Lehi; Gladys Mrs. Morris (Marie) Davies, Boulder City, Nevada. Milwaukee stake and research n; two development engineer and a teacher at the University of Utah from 1922 to 1929. He served with the U.S. Bureau of Mines in Pittsburgh, Pa., the A.O. Smith president of Inglewood, California Stake and a sealer in the Los Angeles Temple for 12 years. Survivors include his wife, two sons and a daughter: Dr. Richard A. Gudmundsen, Tustin, Calif.; Stanley Edwin Gudmundsen, Anaheim, sisters: Trane, Mrs. Funeral services will be held today at 11 a.m. at the Wing Mortuary. Friends may call at the mortuary prior to the service on Thursday. Burial will be in the Lehi City Cemetery. MAYFIELD - Leah Vanessa Hill Jensen, 87, died Sept. 14, 1981 in Gunnison Valley Hospital. She was born July 6, 1894 in Lehi to Leah Peterson and William Lawrence Hill. She married Royal Jensen Welcome November 10, 1915 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A member of the LDS Church, she was a MIA and Primary teacher, a vocalist with the Singing Mothers, and in a Relief Society presidency. Survivors include her husband, Mayfield; three sons and five daughters: Mrs. Ashley (Virlie) Nelson, Lehi; Mrs. Rex (Aleda) Mrs. Phillip (Alice Maxine) Black, Lehi; Bill Jensen, Crescent, 32 grandOregon; Pleasant Coates, Mrs. Grove; Bert Warenski, (Roella) Richfield; Royal Jensen, Centerfield; Dale Jensen, Richfield; Mrs. James Gregerson, (Phyllis) Gunnison; Mildred OREM Culmer Cook, 77, Sophia 745 W. 1600 N., Orem, died Monday, Sept. 28, 1981, at her home. She was born May 4, 1904, in Pleasant Grove, to Horace Joseph and Elizabeth Emma Harris Culmer. She married Floyd Arthur Cook, Sr., June 10, 1925. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She attended school in Pleasant Grove. She also attended BY High and Brigham Young University. She was a member of the LDS Church, residing in the Orem 64th Ward. She has served in all the auxiliaries. She is survived by her husband, Orem; four sons and one daughter, Floyd A. Cook, Jr., Verl Warren Cook, Melvin Larry Cook, all of Orem; Loren Joseph Cook, Copperton; Mrs. Ira (Velyn) Hurst, children; 54 grandchildren; great- great great grand- three children; one sister, Margaret Day, Layton; two brothers, Hyrum "Dick" Hill and William Lawrence Hill, both Southgate, California.
