Russell and Ellen received third place Montana Mission Elder Jay L. Stone, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis K. Stone, has been called to serve in the Billings, Montana Mission. He will depart for the Mission Training Center October 1. Jay is a graduate of Lehi High School and the L.D.S. Seminary program. He was a member of the Jazz and Marching bands which placed first in state. He received awards for outstanding achievement in music and science. He was president of his teacher's quorum and first assistant to the bishop in the priest's quorum. A farewell honoring him will be held Sunday, September 20, at 11:30 a.m. in the Lehi Ninth Ward Chapel. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. Elder Bradley G. Johnson returned to his home in Lehi on September 2, after serving a mission in Louisville, Kentucky. He served as a trainer of new missionaries, a district leader, commissarian and secretary in the mission office.
