The Town still requires only a rough sketch of the floor plan and elevations, with no structural details required. A rough plot plan is also required to show the location of structures, wells, and drain fields on each lot. According to Jeff Whitney, the Grand County Building Inspector, this dramatic fee increase occurred as the old fee scale set by the county commission years back was abandoned and part of the fee schedule set by the Utah Learning is Fun Summer Workshops here in CV for children. building code was adopted to replace it. Building permit fees are based on the estimated cost of having a particular structure built commercially.
