Last weekend he competed in the area competition of the Ford Motor Company- Punt, -sponsored Pass and Kick Contest in Denver, and won in his age group. He will travel to Houston, Texas, Saturday to compete in the divisional semifinals. This contest will be held in the Astro Dome Sunday, December 17. Winner of this contest will then compete for the national title at the National Football Conference playoff game January 7th. Matt was accompanied to Denver by his parents, Ken and Cheri Calton, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Frost of Ford, David Holland and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Holland, of American Fork. David represented olds in the the contest. The boys were hosted by the Denver Bronco's and upon arrival were fitted with their own Denver Bronco uniform, which includes an orange shirt with blue and white stripes and white numbers and white pants. Saturday evening they were feted at a banquet, where they visited with Glen Hyde of the Bronco's. Each boy was given banners and other souveniers.
