Lehi citizens approved a $300,000 bond issue last year, to help pay for the pool. Before the BOR funds can be released, Lehi must first use their bonded money. Several Lehi citizens formed a pool committee last year to try and get an outdoor pool in Lehi. ; The pool will be constructed at 2nd South and 4th East, near the Circle K. Showers and a picnic area are also planned for the pool area. Ross Elliott, director for the BOR, said that because the citizens rallied behind the pool, the bureau knew it would be a successful project. "We already have our share of the money in the bank, and as soon as that money is used we will be able to get the other $300,000 from the BOR," Daly said.
