Show Utah t. Pros F.O. Box 1327 Vtrb 8laio w li. xj - Digging Reveals Skeleton A skeleton dug up Sunday afternoon near 165 West State Street in Lehi was the cause of no small stir. Two Lehi men apparently dug up the skeleton while they were digging a ditch for a sewer connection to a house they are building. Bud Nielsen of Lehi explained that his brother Jim was digging with a backhoe about five feet deep when he came across the bones. Upon inspection the two men found that the body had been buried face down without a casket. They dug the bones out of the ground and placed them in a box. Tuesday, they called Police Chief Berl Peterson who then took charge of them. The reason for the skeleton being there is presently unknown. One other neighbor in THURSDAY. Mil Northern Valley Center, a shopping and business facility of approximately 90,000 square feet including a supermarket, a drug store, a restaurant, a garden center, and ten to twenty other stores and shops, is being planned on 5th East between Interstate 15 and State Street in American Fork. The developer, Trammell Crow Company, with a regional office in Salt Lake City, Utah is currently negotiating major tenant leases, and is actively seeking local tenants from American Fork, Lehi, and Pleasant Grove. According to Rand Paul, the developer's agent, Northern Valley Center will form a nucleus of fine retailers to service the northern portion of Utah Valley. If major tenant leases can be secured soon, Paul can begin development of the Center this summer with opening slated for some time in 1977. "We feel certain that a community shopping center, easily accessable to Pleasant Grove, Lehi, and American Fork, will fill a need for merchants currently doing business in these towns, expanding their market reach and sales potential," says Paul.
