Show LEHI FREE PRESS Margie Minor Honored by Am. Fork Rotary Club Margie - n Miner, a senior student at Lehi High, was honored this week by the American Fork Rotary Club as an Outstanding student. Margie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oar-wi- n Miner. She is active in school activities and is Lehi High's Sterling Scholar Nominee in Homemak-- . ing. She is a Candy Striper at the American Fork Hospital and was a state finalist in the Teens Pageants for 1974 and 1975. She was a delegate to Girls State and earned a first place ribbon at the 1975 Utah State Fair for a quilted bedspread and a third place ribbon for a formal. Cancer Llonth strike Marching Competition Marching competition for all drill teams in Region VI will be held at the Lehi High School on Friday, April 2. Hosting the event will be the Lehi Pion-ettewho are in hopes of bring back the first place trophy. In addition to the drill team, the color guard will make a presentation. The Lehi High School Music Department will present a con-cenext Tuesday evening, April 6. The public and all parents are invited to the concert, which will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium. There will be no charge. Under the baton of Scott Dor-tofeatured in the concert will be the Concert Band, Stage Band, Wind Symphony and the Concert Choir. Several soloists will also perform. There will be a wide range of music from Negro spirituals to pop rock. rt ing. Mr. Jorgensen died March at his home of a heart ail- 24 ment. n, He was born August 26, 1915 in Emery, Emery County, to Nephi and Violet Petty Jorgensen. He married Clara Brasher on June 30, 1941 in Castle Dale, Emery County, and the marriage was solemnized later in the Manti LDS Temple. Mr. Jorgensen was an accountant. Active in the LDS Church, he has been Sunday School teacher and superintendent, Seventy president, and was a High Priest in the Eleventh Ward at the time of his death. He also was a temple worker in the Provo Temple. Survivors include his widow; one son and four daughters, Stanley LaVell Jorgensen, American Fork; Mrs. Robert (Mary Kay) Hayes and Mrs. Kenneth Gaylynn) Albright, both of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Richard Jay (LuJean) Busk and Mrs. Ann J. Curfew, both of Lehi; 13 grandchildren; two n brothers and three sisters, C. Jorgensen, Cal A. Jorgensen, Mrs. Leo (Zenna) Clay-bur- n and Mrs. Brig (Kathleen) Young, all of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Urban (LaVee) Haws, Alpine. Clarence Brasher offered the prayer with family members and the prelude and postlude music was played by Carole Peck.
