Sophs Lose to Pleasant Grove The Sophs visited Pleasant Grove last Thursday and found offensive problems as they by the young Viking IK lo 7. The team played very well on the defense all day bu! could not generate the consis tent offense needed to put up the win. After that series the Pioneer defense stiffened and played well the rest of the afternoon as they held the Pleasant Grove offense to just under 75 yards for the remainder of the game. The Pioneer offense sputtered as they started a number of drives only to have a missque stop the march, a very frustrating day for the Pioneer offense. The score at half remained for Pleasant Grove. It continued in the second half in the same mold as neither team mounted any real offensive threats.
