Provo Temple To Re-Op- A high school senior walked away with the ten dollar prize in this week's "The Advantages of Shopping in Lehi" contest. Alton Hardman, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dee Hardman, won the cash for his entry last week. He is prominent at the high school for his prowess in debate and drama classes and no one will debate his excellent reasons on why it's best to shop in Lehi. The contest will continue until Christmas so there is still time for you to sit down and write an article on "The Advantages of Shopping in Lehi." If you've experienced the hustle and bustle and the crowds in large Malls, you'll know plenty of reasons for hometown shopping. There is no limit on words or Not only that, you get service with a smile. Salesmen and saleswomen are much more friendly and less apt to try to push you into a sale. Many salesmen and saleswomen are friends of mine and of many other citizens of this great town. In Lehi. you can have friendly conversations with the salespeople, while in larger cities you're lucky if the salesperson even smiles at you. There is one more very important advantage to shopping in Lehi. While in larger cities you see "Merry Christmas" advertised in every window, they only have one thing in mind. Your money. However the merchants in Lehi sincerely do wish you a "Merry Christmas." Yes, the advantages to shopping in Lehi are too great to who may enter. The first pass up. You'll enjoy the shopping, you'll have fun putting words into action and you may win ten dollars to help with the Christmas Music Dept. budget blues. Here is Alton's winning entry. en Advantages to Shopping For Holidays A special session of the Provo Temple will be convened on December 28th from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. This special day will accommodate all patrons who wish to attend. Opening of the Temple during the holidays will be especially to accommodate visiting families, couples who wish to be married, missionaries and others. All patrons coming for regular endowment sessions on December 28th, and not connected with the living endowment, should be at the temple as soon after 6:30 a.m. as convenient. The earlier sessions are especially designed to accommodate them. The Provo Temple closes at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 21st for the Christmas and New Year's Holidays. Regular temple work will begin on Thursday, January 2, 1975. in Lehi While I was pondering over my Christmas shopping list, trying to decide all of the gifts that I want to buy for friends and loved ones, the question struck me, "where would be the best place for me to shop?" After thinking it over very carefully, I came to the conclusion that the best place to shop was right here in my own home town. Shopping here in Lehi is most convenient because I do not have to travel a long distance away. All of the things that I need are right here. This is four advantages in one, because not only is the distance an advantage, I save gas, which in turn saves money, and I also save time. But that isn't all, there is much more. Here in Lehi, because stores are not so crowded, you don't have to shop amongst large crowds. Because you get waited on immediately, you get much more prompt, efficient service. To Present Concert Mon. The Lehi High School Music Department will present "A Christmas Family Night" next Monday, December 16, it was reported by Principal Dale H. Price. The program will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium and the public is invited. The concert will bring the Christmas spirit of both sacred and popular Christmas music to the audience and will feature the Concert Band and Wind Symphony playing light, popular Christmas tunes, the Concert Chorus, singing many Yule-tid- e favorites; and the Mixed n Chorus, who will provide Christmas selections. The concert is free and a real surprise is in store for all those who attend. Let's everyone make this a special Family Home Evening and bring the entire family for a wonderful musical evening. well-know- The B.C.
