We would like to express our gratitude for the kindnesses and concern so many folks showed us at the time of the passing of our beloved husband and father Golf Team Wins Golf team won club match last week, the y team has had trouble getting together as a unit but last week finally broke into the win column. y Ron Ellison, Lehi, led the team with a net 73. Ron shoots with a 7 handicap, but shoots good golf. Not far back y was assistant pro Doug Vilven with a net 74. Each team uses one pro and they shoot scratch golf so Doug shot an excellent round. Tri-Citie- s' their Tri-Cit- Tri-Cit- Tri-Cit- scores were. Ken Watkins, AF, a net 78, Craig Dorton, Lehi, a net 81, and Don Williamson, AF, an 84. Other Tri-Cit- i y Both Ron and Doug eagled the tough number 11 a par 5, and those eagles were the first on that hole. 390 Final scores were and Provo 396, with Clyde Barton shooting a net 76 for Provo. Dave Crowton shot nearly 100 on the Course, but the Timp Pro Tri-Cit- y Second Leg of Tennis Program Begins July 16 The second leg of the Recreation Tennis Program will begin July 16th and will run for three weeks with classes being offered on Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The first clinic was successful but a bigger turnout is hoped for the next clinic. All those who came improved their tennis skills. The Little League Tennis program has been underway with the Lehi boys getting off to a slow start, but are now beginning to improve. All those who participated in the first clinic are invited to sign up for the second clinic. Registration is $2.00 with classes being offered to boys and girls of all agea and experience. On Wednesday, June 27, Lehi started off the second half of play in good style with a hard won victory over the Lindon Twins at 7 to 6 in a game that went 10 innings. The eighth and ninth innings were scoreless for both teams, and Lehi retired three in a row in the top of the tenth.
