Show Lehi Students Among BYU Graduates Twenty students from Lehi were among the 3638 who received diplomas at Brigham Young University, Provo at commencement exercises on April 20 in the 23,000 seat Marriott Center. GAISFORD Jennie Gaisford Democratic Precinct Meet May 5 A Democratic Precinct meeting will be held May 5 at 7:30 at the Lehi City Hall according to Precinct Chairman. Darwin Miner. Members of the County Central Committee are especially requested to be present at this important meeting. The main order of business will be to ratify those who have been chosen for state delegates in the last election. A Democratic County Convention will take place on May 12 at the Provo High School. Dies Following Short Illness i . :' ; ; ' ; y; . : i Jennie Johanna Anderson Bradley Gaisford, 75, of 426 E. State St., Lehi, died Friday at the American Fork Hospital, following a short illness. She was born August 23, 1897 in a Landing, Denmark, daughter of Jacob A. and Anena Christenson Anderson. She mar-- ; ried W. Wells Bradley in January, 1916 in the Manti LDS Temple, and they later were divorced. She married Victor W. ; Gaisford on January 28, 1922 in Pocatello, Idaho and he died 19 Q ( years ago. Mrs. Gaisford was an active rnember of the LDS Church and was a Relief Society visiting teacher. Surviving are five sons and two daughters, Wells Armond Bradley, Boise, Ida.; Robert Kenneth Gaisford, Salt Lake ;, City; Victor William Gaisford Ray Eugene Gaisford, Merlin J. ' Gaisford, Mrs. John (Marjorie y Jae) Hansen, and Mrs. Ronald (Sally Anena) Chilton, all of ' Lehi; 34 grandchildren; 26 great ' ; grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters, Wilford Ander-so: Placenta, Calif.; Jacob P. , Anderson, Bountiful; E. Grant Anderson, Hayward, Calif.; Mrs. Mina Mitchell, Gardena, Calif., and Mrs. John (Arlene) Hutchings, Manteca, California. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Wing Mortuary in Lehi under the direction of Bishop Bryant Strasburg, Lehi Second Ward. The prelude and postlude music was played by Eva Carson. The prayer with the family was by Kenneth Gaisford. The invocation was spoken by Jay Merlin Gaisford and was followed by a vocal solo by Jack Larsen. Becky Gaisford read the biographical sketch. Bishop Strasburg and Bishop Grant Christofferson were the speakers. A vocal duet was sung by Venna Gaisford and Beth Noel. Dean Christofferson offered the benediction and the dedication of the grave was by David Strasburg. Serving as Pallbearers were Charles Gaisford, Stevan Gaisford, Don Gaisford, Gary Hansen, Craig Chilton, and Larry J 1 I 1 nday Hansen. The many beautiful flowers were cared for and arranged by the Lehi Second Ward Relief Society. Interment was in the Lehi City Cemetery. Easter Bunny More than 1,656 women have joined the Reserve Officers Training Corps at colleges since it went day MAY 4 Strikes Again Mr. and Mrs. John W. Symes received a treat from the Easter Bunny on, Easter morning for the Fourth straight year. Mrs. Symes took the treat to the American Fork Hospital where Mr. Symes is a patient and they shared the goodies Mrs. together. Symes states that she has never been able to catch the Easter Bunny at work but would very much like to meet him so she can express her thanks in person. "It is so much fun and we enjoy it so much, we are truly grateful to the generous and thoughtful, but "Easter mysterious Bunny."
