WING Teacher at Jr. High The Lehi Junior High School sixth graders are enjoying the teaching abilities of Miss Sharyn Kimball of Provo. Sharyn is one of 12 children of Mr. and Mrs. Rod Kimball. Mr. Kimball is athletic trainer at Brigham Young University. She has five sisters and six brothers, and so has had first hand knowledge of children's desires and disappointments. She says she has wanted to be a teacher ever since people would first ask the inevitable question "What do you want to be when you grow up?'' She attended Provo schools, is a graduate of B.Y. High School Francis Grant home - a State Beautification Winner. BEAUTIFICATION WINNER Ronald R. Wing 1 Is i Dies Following Lingering Illness Ronald Ralph Wing, 18, Lehi, died Sunday, Oct. 10, in the American Fork Hospital of cancer. He was born Nov. 26, 1S52 in Lehi, a son of Alva Ralph and Willa Hadfield Wing. He was an Eagle Scout and had received his Duty to God award. He was dy and BYU. Sharyn financed her college education by working as a production clerk at the Y and had various summer jobs, including working at Lake Tahoe. She loves to sew and enjoys all sports and wants to take up skiing this winter. Her present plans include per fecting her teaching abilities and continuing to teach. Conducts Fire Drills Last week Dean Kirkham of the Lehi Volunteer Fire Department conducted fire drills at each of the schools in Lehi. The Fire Department is anxious to cooperate with the schools to acquaint the students with the proper procedures in emergencies caused by fires or other dangers. The schools ring the fire bell and the students are timed as the evacuation takes place. Fire drill officers observe the drill and make suggestions as to how it could be better facilitated. School administrators are aware of the need for efficient emergency procedures and ask the Fire Department to cooperate with them to practice these drills. Pioneers to Meet Payson Lions Here The Lehi Pioneers will host the Payson Lions tomorrow afternoon at 5:00 p.m. on the local field. Parents, townspeople and other Interested persons are invited to join students for this clash. Region IV admission prices will be in effect tor the game, with $1.25 for adults and 50 cents for children and visiting students with activity cards.
