This book has been on the best seller list for several years, selling over three million copies. It is now considered a classic, and has been written in 12 different languages. Everyone enjoyed this review very much, even though several had already read the book. The Valentine Theme was carried out. The next club will be on Feb. 22, and will be a very informative lecture on LSD. Miss Lynne Maloney of Tooele became the bride of Raymond Welcker of Cedar Fort in a ceremony performed by Bishop Mel-v- in Dunn at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. MarianMa-lone- y, in Tooele, on Saturday, February 10. Those present at the ceremony were Mrs. Maloney, Mrs. Nettie Welcker, mother of the groom, Glenda Maloney, sister of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hurst, sister and brother-in-la- w of the groom and Roger Hurst, and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Berry of Tooele. A reception at the Tooele Thirteenth Ward further feted the couple that same even. The bride's dress was beige lace and she carried a white orchid. Her sole attendant, her sister Glenda, wore turquoise blue crepe and her bouquet was of pink rosebuds. The bride's mother, Mrs. Maloney, wore a turquoise blue Chanel style suit with a pink rosebud corsage. The groom's mother was dressed in a sky blue suit and also had a pink rosebud corsage. The Best man was Norman Berry of Tooele. The serving tables were covered with beige lace cloths with pink and white carnations centering the table. Those serving refreshments were all friends of the bride. Mrs. Norman (Carolyn) Berry, Mrs. Sharon Cook and Mrs. Linda Childs cared for the gifts. The new Mr. and Mrs. Welcker are making their home at 120 North 3rd West in American Fork. Local residents assisting include Mrs. Jay (Millie) who is helping the Polynesian girls; Mrs. Katherine Smuin Hardy, former WAC, who is assisting the nurses with their military drills; Mrs. Steve (Barbara Evans) Hunter aid Mrs. Caroline Kleinman, hair styles; Mrs. Trudy Whittaker and Mrs. Harvard (Rose) Hinton; helping with those who speak French; Davis Peterson, costumes; Dr. Glenn, props; and Dr. Lars Jenkins, technical.
