Alvah Fitzgerald (Myrtle Kirkham), 78, Lehi native, died Friday, Sept. 22, in the Utah Valley Hospital, after a short illness. She was born Feb. 12, 1889, in Lehi, the daughter of James and Martha Mercer Kirkham. She was married to H. Alvah Fitzgerald, Feb. 11, 1914, in the Salt Lake Temple. The family is well known as former residents of Lehi, where Mr. Fitzgerald held a teaching position. Mrs. Fitzgerald held a teaching certificate from Brigham Young Academy and was a teacher at Draper, where she met her husband. She held many positions in the LDS Church and in civic organizations in the several communities where she and her husband resided. Anderson, 54, well Mrs. Annette (Nettie) Johnson former resident of Lehi, known Denmark of native McAffee, 96, and long time resident of Lehi, died Thursday, Sept. 28, at his died Sunday, Oct. 1, in a Provo home in Paradise, Calif., of a nursing home, of causes incident heart attack.
