The benefit game will take place, in the Lehi High School activities at gym, with pre-ga7:30 p.m. and the big match beginning at 8 p.m. Admission is $1 for adults and 50 cents for students. Tickets are available at the Lehi City Office, the Lincoln Finance Office or from any Jaycee member. A hilarious evening of enter tainment is promised as well as some fast action on the floor. The Harlem Showboats are nationally noted for their prowess and the extra bonus of funfilled sidelights throughout the game. Scheduled to appear against the fleet Harlem pranksters are some top ranking cage stars from BYU as well as Lehi. Ferrin Gurney. The Fair will include projects made by the seventh and eighth grade students in connection with their science students. The display will be in the school gym, and the public and parents are invited to come and view the students' work between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Judges will include a representation of the U. S. Soil Conservation Service and Dr. Lars Jenkins. Teen Seminar to Include Enter State Forensic Meet Several Lehi High School students qualified in the Division meet and participated in the State Forensic Meet, it was reported by Kent Davis, speech instruc- tor. The state competition was held at the University of Utah last Friday and Saturday. Those entering from Lehi included David Scown and Bruce Ellison and AnnSeager and Brenda MacNaughton, debate; Esther Evans, oratory; Kathi Zimmerman, extemporaneous speaking and Rosalie Scown, radio speaking. Miss Evans, and Miss Scown won excellent ratings and Kathi, a good rating. Each received a certificate. Sixth, Seventh Wards to Join For Gold, Green Ball Everyone is Invited to attend the Gold and Green Ball which will combine the Sixth and the Seventh wards on Wednesday, April 12, at 8 p.m., in the Lehi Stake Center. Admission is free and refreshments will be served. Paul Halversen' s orchestra will provide the music for dancing. The theme will be, 'April Love," and the queen will be selected from the Laurel Class, with the fathers of the girls as escorts. In charge of arrangements are the MIA officers, headed by Gordon Bennett as Sixth Ward superintendent, Rulon All-re- d, superintendent of the Seventh Ward, and Faye Godfrey and Ila Pulley as the respective presidents. F.F.A. Banquet Friday Night All FFA members and their parents are reminded of the annual Parents and Sons Banquet slated for tomorrow (Friday) evening. The dinner will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the high school lunchroom, under the direction of the Chapter officers. The Seminar is being sponsored by the various city officials and county commissioners, with the cooperation of school officials throughout the area. They were honored at the annual awards banquet, held at the Hotel Utah last Saturday evening. A lavish banquet was enjoyed, together with a variety program. Symbolic pins, representing the number of years of service, were presented to the men. Main speaker of the evening was Benton Boyd, general manager of Western Operations, for the company. Ernest Oliver holds a record of 33 years employment with the company, with 28 years continuous service. Delbert Sudwicks has a record of 31 years. Charles Nelson has worked for 25 years and Harold J. Degelbeck has achieved 21 years employment. Also, Lloyd Strasburg and Ivan Johnson have each been employed by the company for 20 years. FORENSIC Paul Rosier Named Branch President (I Friends and relatives here will be interested to know that Paul Rosier has recently been set apart as Branch President in the Cameron District, Arizona. Mr. Rosier is studying at the University of Arizona at Flagstaff, with a major in administrative education and plans to teach there. Speech Meet ! sj 74 IS Cedar Fort Dies Suddenly Dale Berry, 51, Cedar Fort native and lifelong resident, died suddenly Tuesday, at 5 p.m., in the American Fork Hospital, following a heart attack. He was serving as a member of the Ce -dar Fort town council at the time of his death. Mr. Berry, long time mechanic and farmer, was born in Cedar Fort, August 18, 1915, a son of Woodruff L. and Saralf Strickland Berry. He was married to Fawn Lewis of Lehi, April 11, 1935, in Lehi. The mar -liage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Active in LDS Church affairs, he was activity counselor in the Cedar Valley Ward YMMIA, and with his wife, had served for many years on the Old Folks Committee. He is survived by his wife, Cedar Fort; three sons and one daughter, Lewis Dale, American Fork; Jack Dennis and Craig Blair, both of Cedar Fort, and Mrs. Merlyn Pack (Jeannine), Lehi; eight grandchildren, two brothers and three "sisters, Wallace N. and Rial V., both of Lehi; Mrs. Rollo (Beth) Blackhurst and Mrs. Don (June) Fenton, both of Pleasant Grove; and Mrs. Elman (Joan) Anderson, Cedar Fort. Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 1 p.m., in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, in Lehi, where friends may call Friday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday prior to the services. This indoor rodeo spectacular was featured on the Coliseum" program, Sunday night. Lex Connelly, producer and announcer from the Lehi rodeo, was the announcer for the indoors event. The Long Beach rodeo is produced by Lex Connelly, who notified the Lehi Civic Improvement Association, with ArtSabey as publicity chairman, in advance of the telecast. It is the only sports event being shown on Coliseum" this season. Miss Lynda Beck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wells Beck, has been named the outstanding business student at the Lehi High School Miss Beck will be honored by the National Secretaries Association International tonight at the Riverside Country Club in Provo.
