Easter Specials 3 Of interest to numerous- relatives and friends here comes the announcement of the marriage of Miss Jeanette Royle, daughter of President and Mrs. Homer F. Royle of American Fork, to Allen Monson. The bridegroom is a son of Patriarch and Mrs. Monson of Denver, Colorado. Vows were exchanged in the Logan Temple. The couple met while serving Both in the Brazilian Mission. are students at Brigham Young University. Miss Royle has been student teaching in American Fork and is a prospective August graduate. She will teach in American Fork, where the couple are making their home. Mr. Monson is also following a course in education. Among those present for the wedding were the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Freeman Royle, of Lehi, Miss JoAnn Webb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Webb of Downey, Calif., who came by plane for the occasion, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Chatfield. Havilla Friday, April Announcing the engagement and wedding plans of their daughter, Miss Shirley Ann Skinner, are Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Sk'in-ne- r. Miss Skinner will wed Henry J. Havilla, ward of Mr. and Mrs. Harmon T. Vance, Friday, April 19, in the Manti Temple. A reception will honor the couple that evening in the Fourth Ward Chapel, with receiving from 8 to 10 p.m. All friends and relatives are invited. Miss Skinner graduated from the Lehi High School and LDS Seminary. She was a member of the Peppettes Club and also served as school reporter. She graduated from the Comptometer School in Salt Lake City, and spent a year in Hawaii where she was employed in the American Finance Company office. She is currently employed in an office position for the Hercules Company.- Active in church affairs, Linda Thornton, Larry A. Street Plan Wedding Of interest to friends and relatives in two cities comes the announcement of the engagement and forthcoming marriage of Miss Linda Louise Thornton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Thornton of American Fork, and Larry A. Street. The prospective bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Street of American Fork, and a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Street of this city. The couple will exchange marriage vows, Friday, April 12, at the home of the bride's parents Bishop Melvin Kitchen will officiate. On Friday, April 26, an open house reception will be held at the bride's home in American Fork, with all friends and rela tives invited. RELIEF SOCIETY STAKE PREPARATION MEETING THURSDAY, AI'RIL 18 All stake and ward Relief So ciety workers arc reminded to at tend the preparation meeting to be held Thursday, April 18, at 1:30 p.m. in the Second Ward Church. There will be classes for all departments and a nursery will be provided for the young children. This is the last prepara tion meeting of the season and a 100 per cent attendance is urged 19 she has done considerable Sunday School teaching. The prospective bridegroom spent two and a half years serv ing in the Finnish Mission, and is currently employed at the Tooele Ordnance Depot. He is a graduate of the Lehi High School and LDS Seminary and has also attended Brigham Young Univer sity. He is a member of Company B , Army Reserve unit in Pleas ant Grove. The couple will make their home in Lehi. BIRTHDAY DINNER HONORS THREE The family of Mrs. Alice Stice Humphrey met together last Sunday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gareth Seastrand and family, (Dorothy Stice) in Orem. They enjoyed a family birthday dinner for three. This included Wilma Stice Douglas, Mark Sea- strand and a grandson, Jim West, of Denver, Colo., who is a student at Brigham Young University. (Bud) Johnson are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Miss Shirley Renae Johnson to Charles DeLain Thompson, son of Mrs. Ruth Nester of Spokane, Wash., and Charley Thompson of Kali-spel- l, Montana. The wedding ceremony will take place Friday, May 3, in the Manti Temple. That same evening the yomig couple will be honored at a reception in the Third-SevenWard Chapel. The next meeting will be held Thursday, April 11 (tonight) at the home of Mrs. Boyd Wathen and will feature elections and a recipe exchange.
