Show Open House at Cedar Fort Honors New Mr. and Mrs. Paul Peterson Paul W. and Margery Jennings Peterson were honored at an open house at Cedar Fort, Friday, Aug. 19, with a large gathering of family members and friends in attendance. The hall was tastefully decorated in pink and white, featuring gladioli and asters in a background motif. With Mr. and Mrs. Leon Jennings of St George, and Mr, and Mrs. James E. Peterson, in the bridal line, Mr. and Mrs. Cary Peterson, brother and of the bridegroom, assisted as best man and matron of honor. Bishop and Mrs. Ernil M. Cook greeted the guests, who were introduced by Jay Peterson, a brother. Mrs. Larry (Jolene) Burnham cared for the guest book. An appeal is being made to all board members of the clinic and the people of Utah county in this needed personnel. The people in the county came to the aid of the clinic in obtaining competent clinical workers when the clinic was first organized and the executive board is again appealing to the people to help them locate the needed professional personnel. Professional Help Needed For Child Guidance Clinic Summer Party Vel-m- ) Chris-toffers- on DUP Camps Hold The four Lehi camps of the daughters of Utah Pioneers organization combined for the annual summer party at Wines Park, last a Thursday afternoon. Captain Comer of the Fort Wall Camp, took charge. Prayers were offered by Captain Zina Willes of the Bluebell Camp and Captain Rhea Vanie of the Snow Springs Camp. Some 80 were present for the delightful affair which included an appetizing luncheon and a program. The Jorgensen sisters entertained with dancing. Ellen Banks furnished accordion selections and Fern Russon gave an original reading. Captain Ruth Wanlass of the Evansville Camp, gave readings and Ellis Lehmberg played electric guitar selections. Miss Linda Ferman also gave a reading. Meetings will begin the second Thursday in September, camp officers announced. Garrett was master of ceremonies for the program which included toasts by Mrs. Noy and Cecil Hansen. Jay Ronald Peterson sang two solos, "Through the Years," and "Some Enchanted Evening." Petite Susan Berry and Tamera Cook entertained with dancing. The concluding vocal selection was, "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You", by Paul Peterson and his mother, Lucille Peterson. Dancing rounded out the beautifully arranged affair.
