CHARLOTTE LEWIS ATTENDS WEDDING Mrs. Charlotte Lewis returned home Saturday, after an enjoyable trip to the Northwest, going by bus. Highlight of her stay in Toppenish, Wash., was the wedding of her granddaughter. Miss Sharon Lynn Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ford Smith, to William F. Roberts of Seattle, Wash. Enroute she stopped in Boise, Ida., for a visit with another daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Nielsen and daughter, who also attended the wedding. In Salt Lake City, Mrs. Lewis was the guest of hor daughter Agnes, Mr. and Mrs. V'augn Cundick and family. CHARLES TURNER Mr. and Mrs. Charles Turner to Mark 66th Wedding Date Aug. 20 V4 I- w - A remarable occasion in Lehi will be the 66th wedding anniversary of Charles Alfred and Mary A. Zimmerman Turner, which will be Saturday, August 20. Both are Lehi natives and lifelong residents here. Both have been faithful in church and community positions and have continued very active throughout their long lives. Mr. Turner had a long career as a railroad man and was a prominent musician in' the area for many years. He also played baseball and followed other sports. His garden has long been his pride. He is a High Priest in the LDS Church. Mrs. Turner has found time and energy for positions in the Primary and Relief Society, while raising her family of 16 children. Always cheerful and alert, she has followed, handwork as a hobby and many lovely pieces grace the homes of her family and friends. The stunt-lovin-g Orem twins, shown here, are members of the Consolidated Western Riding Club and have brought their beauty and riding skill to area rodeos, riding contests and special events. Their father, John Steel's nearby Detomasi, is an electrician at Columbia-Genev- a ' Geneva Works. People, too, are enthusiastic about Utah Valley Steelmark Days and civic and business leaders from nine communities already are busy making plans for the, upcoming event.
