Hollinger in Temple Ceremony Miss Denice Taylor, daughter of Mrs. Edna Swain, and the late Reed .Taylor, and Charles C Hollinger exchanged wedding vows in the Salt Lae Temple, Friday, Aug. 12. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. S. Lorraine Holling- er of Nevada. A wedding breakfast was held home of Mr. and Mrs. June Cox, aunt and uncle of the bridegroom of Salt Lake City, immediately following the ceremony. Oth- at the ers included were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Rothe, of Riverton. aunt and uncle of the bride, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred H. Cornish, grandparents of the bridegroom. For her wedding the new Mrs. Hollinger wore a floor lenth gown of nylon lace over tulle and satin, styled with scalloped neckline and sleeves. She wore a crown of seed pearls and sequins which released an elbow length veil of bridal illu- sion. A bridal shower honored the bride at her home the previous Friday. Tables were decorated with red and white petunias and roses. A wedding cake was topped to;' with miniature bride and groom and accented with pink rosebuds and ribbons Mrs. Joseph Rothe, aunt of the bride, assisted in entertaining. Serving were Linda and Carolyn Lois Rothe. Marilyn Kearney, Moore and Christine Roberts. In charge of the gifts were the three sisters of the bride, Aileen, Flor ence Ann and Marilyn Swain. Mrs. Clara Jorgensen gave an original reading and musical selec tions were heard from a trio, Mrs. Lornell Bateman, Edith Roberts and Berniece Rasmussen. Linda Rothe was the accompanist. The new Mrs. Hollinger graduated from the Lehi High School and has been employed in Salt Lake City for the past three years. She is currently head of the bookkeeping department of the Wasatch Plumbing Supply concern. The bridegroom is, a graduate of Taft Junior College in California. He fulfilled a mission in the Cook Islands and served with the U. S. Army in Europe. The young couple will make their home in Salt Lake City where both are employed. MR. AND MRS. CHARLES C. Mrs. Robert Fox, Lehi, and Louis Christensen, now of American Fork, are the the Home Economics Club. She was a member of Phi Upsilon student NEA, and the Dixie Club. She recently returned from studying at the Merrill Palmer Institute in Detroit, Michigan. Mr. Peterson completed a mission in the Southern States last September. He served as second counselor to two mission presidents, Berkley L. Bunker and J. Byron Ravsten. Gifted in music, he has entertained extensively at social events and programs in Lehi and at the USU, playing the guitar and singing. He is a member of Delta Phi and will continue his studies at the Logan college this fall. Open House at Cedar Fort Open house will be held in the Cedar Fort recreation hall, Friday, August 19, beginning at 8 p.m., and will include a program and dancing. Everyone is invited.
