Show Mother of Lehi Resident Dies In Jim. Fork ItM Roadshows , Mrs LiUie Jeffery Burgess Smith. 72, of American Fork, died at her home following a wolorppd illness. She is the mother of Malin K. :smth and Mrs. Heber HadfieW of Leh. She was born Dee. 18, 1887 at nne vauey. Washington County, a daughter of Geortre E. and Fb- ily Ann Jeffery Burgess. She mar ried ft. Artnur Smith, November 27. 1907. in the St George LDS Temple. She was a member of the American Fork Sixth Ward. Surviving are her husband; three sons and four daughters: Malin R. Smith and Mrs. Heber (Iona) Hadfield, both of Lehi; Mrs. Jo. seph (Belva) Bateman of American Fork; Mrs. Wendel . (Irma) Vawdery of Draper; Mrs. Milo (Vonda) Rasmussen of Salt Lake City; Kay B. Smith of Kearns; Curtiss L. Smith of Bountiful; a granddaughter, Mrs. G e n n B. 1 (Maxine) Roundy of American Fork, who wag reared by the Smiths; 19 other grandchildren; nine two brothers, Edward W. Burgess of Alpine and Orion J. Burgess of Parma, Idaho; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Aeee) Gubler and Mrs Evan A. (Dord) Shepherd of Aln; pine. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. in the American Fork Sixth-Eght- h LDS Ward Chapel. Rural was in Alpine City Cemetery.
