Mo.; Mr, and Mrs. Earl Stice, a stepson, of Truckee, Calif, E. R. Spear, Mrs. Humphrey's brother and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas, a stepdaughter, all of Salt Lake City.D. W. The new baby boy, weighing eight pounds two ounces, was born Mon day, August 1, at the Utah Valley Hospital. Sharing honors are Mr. and Mrs. Kirby Allen and Delbert Holdaway, all of Vineyard. great-erandrmre- nt BUCHANANS VISIT IV LEHI Mr. and Mrs. James Buchanan and children, Linda 11, Darwin 9, and Ronda 5, spent part of last week visiting in Lehi with rela tives and friends. They visited at the home of Mrs. Buchanan's par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Wlson Green wood. The Buchanans were en route to their home in Granada Hills. Calif., after a three week vacation in Oregon, Washington and Canada. They returned by Park, as way of Glacier-Nation- al well as Yellowstone Park, where they visited the quake area. D WIGHT BATES INJURED IN ACCIDENT Dwight Bates, local owner and station on manager of Prem-o-c- o State Street, was injured last Saturday while repairing a flat tire on a Utah County truck. Mr. Bates was putting the cap on the tire when it blew up and the lock ring on the tire struck him across the face. Several stitches were required to close the laceration about the mouth. MAX POWELL IMPROVING son Max Powell, seven-year-oof Mr. and Mrs. Keith Powell, who was injured several weeks ago in a accident, is reported improving satisfactorily in a Salt Lake hosptaL According to re ports, one leg has been placed in a cast, while the other leg is still in traction, but is expected to be placed in a cast later this week. Max is still suffering from bruises and obrasions, but hopes to be able to return to his home sometime next week. ld car-bicyc- le MOVE TO SAN JOSE Mr. and Mrs. David Monson and four children, of Lehi. are now residing at 889 Cottonwood Drive in San Jose, Calif. Mrs. Mon son will be remembered as the former Jedda Mercer. Mr. Mon son is employed by Itel McCul tough and his department was re cently transferred to that city, Mr. Monson was serving on stake mission at the time of his transfer, and was given a recom mendation that he be allowed to complete his work in his new stake in California. August 10. Mss Mary Dobmiser of Salt Lake City was visiting with Mr. and Mrs. William J. Skinner Tuesday evening. Mr. Skinner is -- a very old friend of their family. At 3:30 p.m. the Third and Seventh will play on the North diamond, and Cedar Valley and the Fourth will play on the South. At 7 p.m. the senior girls will play, with the First and Fifth on the North and Cedar Val ley and Fourth on the South. Starting at 8:30 p m. the Second will play the Sixth on the North field and the Seventh and Third will be on the South. The round robin will be announc ed next week, according to Eva Oxborrow, director. The standings in ' the Junior league thus far this season are as Mr. and Mrs. Roy Fage and Kevin of Roy came to Lehi Wednesday evening to take Mr. and Mrs. William J. Skinner to spend the week end wth Mr. and Mrs. James Gottfredson, Jr. and family. Mrs. Gottfredson will be remem bered as the former Fay Hutch-ing- s.
