This held on a stake-wid- e was the first season for volleyball in Lehi stake, and the Fourth Ward took the championship in the senior division. The Third Ward won top honors in the junior division. Seventy persons took part in the junior league; forty in the senior. SOFTBALL, In softball the Third Ward were first place winners, also taking first place in the Division 6 tournament at Provo, ranking to play in the playoffs in Salt Lake City. They won a trophy for their championship. Second place in the stake was won by the Second Ward. Ninety young men participated in the softball season. BASKETBALL The basketball tournament saw both and senior titles being captured by the Sixth ward. DUTY TO GOD AWARDS "Duty to God" awards were won this year by seven young men from Lehi stake: Brent Peterson, Brent Larsen and Kent Wells of the Second Ward, and Dean Zimmerman, Neil Woffinden, Kenneth Trane and Boyd Peterson of the Fifth Ward. Our attendance is increasing, probably due to the fact that each ward provides a nursery attendant who cares for the smaller children, it possible for our young Relief mothers to attend. During the past year we have participated in two clothing assignments for the Tirapanogos Regional Storehouse. The construce tion of articles of women's and children's clothing is assigned to the Relief Society. We made 71 articles in 1958. We also assisted in a used clothing drive for the. Deseret Industries in Provo in March. The stake Elders quorum assisted in the gathering of these articles. ready-mad- A two-staconvention was held in Lehi last spring with Timpano-go- s stake, with Sisters Elna P. Haymond and Annfe M. Ellsworth of the General Board in attedance. We also participated in a Holiday Fair held in Provo, sponsored by the County Home Demonstration agents. On Septmber 20 the stake Re- ke j j EDITION lief Society prepared and served a banquet for 600 persons for the dedication of the Lehi Armor' Building. Girls from the ML helped with the serving. We hope that during the convng year more sisters will take advantage of the program of Relief Society, where they may learn more in many fields. The association with the fine women there is priceless. Let's see more of you at Relief Society in 1959. He: "I wish I had a nickel for every girl I've kissed." She: "What would you do?
