Kopinsky will be pleased to learn that they have returned to Lehi, after spending several months at Youngstown, Ohio. Mrs. Kopinsky. who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Felt, will be remembered as the former Norene Felt. Mr. Kopinsky was a member of the Lehi City police force while living here. The couple returned with Miss Norine Fox, an aunt of Mr. Kopinsky. by automobile from Ohio. Miss Fox spent the past month visiting with them. MR. AND MRS. MICHAEL y Beach, California. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Powell and children. Tony, Darrel. Gordon and Max, returned Saturday after spending five days on a motor tour, which included a visit to see their son, Gary, at Phillips-burMontana. The family spent two days sightseeing in the area and were the guests of Gary's employer and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Ilowaid Lord at their ranch. Trips to Helena and Butte, Montana, were enoyed. One of the West's largest open-p- it copier mines is located at Butte. Virginia City, Montana, was included in the itinerary, where one of the West's oldest "ghost towns" remains. The ladies enjoyed a family visit at the homes of two other sisters to Mrs. Comer and Mrs. Laird, Mrs. Ben (Myrtle) Rose and Mrs. Melvin ( Dorothy t Boyce. THE GLENN WINGS RETI FROM EASTERN TOl'R RN Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Wing have to their home after spending a most enjoyable three weeks' vacation in the eastern part of the United States. Going by way of Denver, Colorado; Kansas City, Missouri, and further east into Illinois, Ohio, and West V'irginnia, they arrived in Baltimore, Maryland, where live days were spent. While there the Wings attended the National Convention of the Associated Police Communications Officers. Inc. Many side trips were enjoyed, including a cruise down the bay, into the Atlantic Ocean, aboard the steamer "Latrolie." A tour of Fort McHenry. a national monument, where Francis Scott Key wrote "The Star Spangled Banner," in a time of great national strife; a bus trip to Washington, D.C., and also to Arlington, Virginia, and Mt. Vernon, were included as well. A baseball game between the New York Yankees and th Baltimore Orioles was enjoyed in the Memorial Stadium, in Baltimore. Traveling up state to Syracuse, New York, Mr. Wing combined business with pleasure in the viewing of General Electric's "Electronic Park," where products are developed and manufactured in what is known as the world's center for electronic progress. Also included in this interesting tour was the Hill Cumorah, where Mr. and Mrs. Wing viewed the famous Mormon pageant, "America's Witness for Christ." They attended church services in the Sacred Grove and also viewed the Joseph Smith home at Palmyra, New York. Niagara Falls, New York, and Ontario. Canada, were enjoyed, and the return trip to Utah was made by way of Chicago, Illinois. returned Gurney Family Holds Reunion 'Movie Night" Slated Bv A. F. Ball Club The William F. Gurney famih reunion was held at Saratoga last Saturday with 89 family member? being present. This is the first time in 23 years thai a complete family reunion has been held and it is hoped that an annual reunion will be held each year. There are two sons and a daughter still living. Frank Gurney and Oscar Gurney. both of Lehi; Mrs. Blanche Ipson of Salt Lake City. Twenty-fiv- e grandchildren are counted as well as 82 aiui 14 in the William F. Gurney ancestry. Luncheon, swimming, games and visiting were enoyed. "Movie Night" sponsored the Western Boys Baseball league, jomposed of boys from 9 to 12 years of age, all from American Fork, will be held Thursday ev ening. August 28, at the Starlite Drive-I- n Theatre in that city. All proceeds from the sale of tickets to this show will go to the baseball league to help defray costs and to keep the league going. Leon Cartwright, manager of the MRS. FRANCES COMER VISITS IN CALIFORNIA Mrs. Fiances Comer returned home last week alter spending three weeks at the home of i;er Mr. ami daughter and Mrs. Jack L. Williams, and children Kay, Bruce, Jackie and Harold Jay. The Williams' reside in Mrs. Williams California. is the former Nola Comer. While on the West Coast. Mrs. Comer also visited with her sister, Mrs. May Shaw and her son, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Shaw and family, of Inglewood, California. Mrs. Comer made the trip to the coast with her daughter, Mrs. Williams, who spent t ho past five weeks visiting with her mother, her sister Shirley, and brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Comer, as well as other relatives.
