Show THURSDAY, JULY 14, 1953 LEH1 FREE Family Reunions Local Members Attend Monson Family Reunion Smiths Attend Woolley Reunion Mr. and Mrs. David Monson and son David, junior, were overnight visitors in Mount Pleasant where they atended the Monson family reunion. Some 25 members of the immediate family were present at the annual affair which was held at the Wasatch Academy Lodge. The occasion marks the wedding anniversary of the family founders. Carson Family to Observe Centennial In Fairfield McAllisters Hold Family Reunion The centennial observance of the Carson brothers settling in Fairfield will take place at the big family reunion to be held at the Fairfield hall and school grounds, Saturday, July 16. All descendants of the origional branches of the family are reminded to attend. The gathering will begin at 10 a.m. Families are asked to bring their own lunches for the noon meal and supplies for the weiner g roast in the evening. The entertainment will include a fish pond for the children and games and events for all ages. Heading the general committee in charge of arrangements are Mrs. Ada Carson Sears, now of Salt Lake City, as president; Jas. A. Carson, now of Lehi, and Mrs. Glen Carson of Sandy, secretary. day-lon- Family Members Gather at George Mr. and Mrs. George Lewis enjoyed a visit from their daughter Nedra and her family, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Roberts and sons, Kay and Hal, here from Rig-bIdaho. The young family also spent some time with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Roberts, parents of Mr. Roberts. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lewis of y, Fullerton, California,. are visiting in Utah, dividing their time with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George and Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Salt Lake City. The Lewis' joined the group at Sunday dinner at the White home. Jack is on vacation from his position with the Standard Oil Company. With them are their sons, Dale and Kyle. Fishing on the Weber River was anjoyed during the weekend by Mr. and Mrs. Evan L. Smith, Club News 4-- H Plan Wedding Funeral services were held last Wednesday at 2 p. m. in the Fifth Ward chapel for Mrs. Orma Jean Degelbeck Vario. 28. who died in Tucson, Arizona, July 2, of cere bral hemorrhage. A well known former Lehi resident, she was the daughter of Mrs. Alice Degelbeck now of Ophir, and the wife of Frank Vario. The large gathering and manv beautiful flowers de picted the regard of friends and relatives. Relief Society members cared for the flowers and pallbearers were the following: Ronald Johnson, Mark Johnson, Lloyd Taylor, Nile Fugal, Buford Seals and Winn Hall. The prayer at the mortuary was offered by Ralph Wing. Mrs. Zada Phillips played the organ prelude music. Bishop and postlude Ernest B. Garrett offered the in vocation.
