Lehi High Debate Teams Do Well At Weber Meet Lehi to Host District Debate Meet Lehi High School will play host to debate teams from four other High Schools of the Alpine region March 25 when the annual Regional Debate Meet is held here. Approximately 150 students are expected to take part in the meet. Schools to be represented include B. Y. High. Lincoln, Pleasant Grove, American Fork and LehL On KOVO Saturday are re School High patrons minded that the Lehi High School's weekly radio program will be heard Saturday at 10:29 a. m. over Station KOVO. Narrated by Rhea Wanlass, the program presents variety numbers from the student body, as well as a report on the various activities at the school. Lehi High School placed a high percentage of it's debate teams in the advanced rounds of the Weber College Invitational Debate Meet, February 25 and 26, according to Roger Honeyman, debate coach. The school entered ten teams in the meet, five of whom advanced to the fifth round, and two of whom qualified for the sixth round. Mr. Honeyman expressed satisfaction with the showing made by his teams. The students stayed overnight at the Hotel Ben Lomond and be displayed such exemplary havior that they received an invitation from the hotel management to return next year. Mr. Honeyman declared that he appreciates the fine home training the parents apparently have given their children, as was evidenced by their fine attitudes and be havior while in Ogden. Originally scheduled for March 25, the clinic has been delayed until April 1 because of conflict with other clinics in the district. All parents are urged to make a note of the change so they will not miss the final clinic. VISIT Mrs. Wallace Hebortson and Mrs. Earl Roberts have returned tour home after a nine-da- y through Nevada, Arizona and Old Mexico. The two women stopped In Mesa, Arizona, to visit Mrs. Hebertson's mother, Mrs. Frank (Carrie Nielsen)' Lee of Orem, who is spending the winter in In Arizona with her husband. Phoenix they visited with another Orem couple, Mr. and Mrs. Enos Nielsen. While in Mesa they toured the L. D. S. Temple grounds, with Aaron Allred, former Lehi resident, acting as their guide. Then then continued to Old Mexico, where they spent .two days in Nogales. On their return trip they stopped in Las Vegas for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Nile Roberts, former Lehi residents.
