Show LEHI FREE PRESS, LEHI, UTAH THURSDAY, APRIL 5, 1966 MIA Maids, Mothers to Attend Special Meet All Mia Maids of the stake and their mothers will join in a special stake meeting to be held next Tuesday, April 10, at 8 p. m. in the Second Ward hall. Stake director Alta Clark will be in incharge of the meeting which clude 92 girls of the Mia Maid age. The evening will feature the theme, "So Dear to My Heart," with Mrs. Russell Innes, former dean of girls at the high school, as the principal speaker. A program will feature talent from each ward. The MIA Stake presidency, Ruth Stephensen, Alta Ash, Beda Peck, with May Shepherd, secretary, will be in attendance. Refreshments will be served. Another highlight of the Mia Maid program will be the lovely rose evening, scheduled for the month of April. The symbolism of the rose and the rose tying ceremony will be featured. The program is conducted on a ward basis. Individual groups are preparing for the event. George A. Larson, 75, Dies in Ogden Family members attended funeral services for George A. Larson, 75, retired schoolteacher of many years service, who died after a fall in which his leg was fractured, last Monday. Funeral services were held in Ogden, Friday. Mr. Larson is survived by his wife, the former Cora Pendleton, a son, Colonel Gordon P. Larson, retired army man, of Philadelphia, Penn., and two grandchildren. His two brothers, Niel Larson and Leslie Larson, of Lehi, with their wives, attended the funeral. Also in the group were Mr. and Mrs. Rex Larson, Von Larson, Patsy and Glenda Larson, Kenneth Larson and Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Thornton.. Burial took place in Pleasant Grove. Farm Bureau Women Babies Named To Tour Indian Babies were named and Lehi Library News . . . School, Bird Refuge inand others Local members terested are invited to join in the tour planned by Utah County Farm Bureau Women, Thursday, April 12, it is announced by Mrs. Orville Vibbert, local president. Going by chartered bus, the group will have luncheon at a Brigham City cafe at 11 a m., tour the Indian schol at 1 p m. and tour the bird refuge at 3 p. m. Hutchings Bennett, former resident of Lehi, died last Monday in a Salt Lake City hospital, following an extended illness. She was born in Mammoth, Dec. 12, 1908, a daughter of Edwin M. and Harriett Lunt Hutchings. She lived in Lehi with the family and attended the Lehi schools. She was married to Harvel J. Bennett, November 7, 1928, in the Salt Lake Temple, and they made their home in American Fork. She is survived by her husband; sons and daughters, H- Gordon Bennett, Lehi; Mrs. Chloe Miller, Sandy; J. Verl and Melba Lynn Bennett, American Fork; four grandchildren, one brother and two sisters. She was a niece of John Hutchings of this city. Funeral services and burial were held in American Fork, last Thursday.
