Show Tin: Jack Bonine Called For Army Duty Jack Bonine, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Bonine left Friday, March 13, for military service. First reporting at Ford Ord, California, he is now enroute to Fort Lewis, Washington. He telephoned his parents, Sunday, that he was leaving Monday. Jack has been a member of the Lchi unit of the National Guard for the past two years, attaining the rank of corporal. He took a special three months' course in field engineering at Fort Belvois, Va. This has aided him in getting his present assignment for further mechanical training, he reported. He attended Lehi high school and was employed at the Deseret Chemical Depot. Mrs. Charles Turner attended a birthday party for her daughter, Odell Hardcastle in East Crescent, Saturday afternoon. Six of Mrs. Hardcastle's sisters were present, including Mrs. Klea Ernst and Mrs. Ruth Graham of Lehi.
