Jf SONG OF LOVE CHOSEN AS JUNIOR PROM THEME The Junior Promenade will be held tonight (Friday) in the high school gymnasium at 9:00 p. m. with "Song of Love" as the theme. The public is cordially invited to attend what promises to be the social highlight of the year. It was decided that the business houses and schools will not be asked to close as they have in other years, but rather, each business firm will be directly responsible for cleaning its ovn own premises. Schools are cooperating in clean ing the play grounds before the cleanup date set by the mayor, and students are urged to help in the cleanup drive at their homes on Saturday prior to the day designated as official cleanup day. The student committee assumed responsibility for carrying out the program and the absence of injuries or accidents during safety week was due largely to their leadership. council was very week in making LEHI MAN ASSALTED IN 0REM HIGHWAY INCIDENT Charged with battery in connection with the alleged beating, Sunday, of Dale Roberts, the defendant, Bert Soulier, of Orem, pleaded innocent Monday when arraigned in city court in Provo. City Judge W. Dean Loose set trial for the Orem youth for April 14th. According to reports by Roberts to investigating officers, Ken neth Wilkinson of Orem City police and Trooper Robert Ingersoll. Sandy, state highway patrol, the defendant's car first attempted n motorist ffom the road as he was traveling north in the north city limits of Provo. The car forced the Roberts' machine off the road by passing on the right in a two-lahighway, and when the Lehi car didn't stop the car in which the defendant was riding rammed the back of Roberts' car. At this point, Roberts stopped his car and he and J. B. Cooper, an occupant of the car, were set upon by a foursome from the other car. In the fist fight which ensued, Roberts' jaw was broken in threo places and he suffered loss of four teeth.
