BYU Student Union Benefit Carnival Slated Oct. 15, 16 Provo Utah County have been invited to the Student Union Benefit Carnival, October 15 and 16, by BYU studentbody officers, according to Moana Ballif, Provo, general chairman. Talent shows have travelled to several schools in the county giving a preview of the Vaudeville acts which will be a feature of the two day affair. The show, planned to boost the student union building fund, is also a climax to" Freshman Week on the campus. The vaudeville shows will begin at 8 p. m. Friday and Saturday, and at 10 a. m. Saturday morning for children. Citizens are asked to clear their lots of weeds now, and prevent possible disaster through allowing them to catch fire. Care should be exercised in dumping ashes, that they are not placed close to fences or barns, where they might easily cause a destructive fire.
