This year there will be no allowance based on a farm's past history to limit the amount of conservation assistance any farmer can earn under the program, Mr. Bird explained. This means that no matter what a particular practice costs, the county committee will approve it as a part of the farm plan if the practice would best promote conservation in the county. To qualify for payment, howpwr all practices must receive advance approval by the county committee.
